Hi guys, I just downloaded the Window9 library, compiled it from source with no errors and attempted to work through an example. Here is the error:
E:\Basic\FreeBASIC-1.09.0-winlibs-gcc-9.3.0\bin\win32\ld.exe: cannot find -lz
I have no idea what this "lz" is or how to fix it!

All of a sudden I am getting a "ld.exe cannot find -lz" error when using GUI library for windows.
What is the linker trying to link to and where do I find it?
You need to add the ZLIB library (only libz.a).
She can be found
here or
here (for windows).
