I usually use fbide, but thought I give fbedit a try.

Don't have a clue on installing fbedit.

What doesn't work?

Just download the archive: https://sourceforge.net/projects/fbedit/files/
unpack into a folder with Latin names, for example D:\Fbedit . The folder must be writable because FbEdit writes to its own folder: settings, etc.
Run , change the path to your compiler and help file
Everything.
