Where can I get a Recent-Git-Build of FreeBASIC?
Re: Where can I get a Recent-Git-Build of FreeBASIC?
It seems to finally work as intended.

@St_W,
The manual update seems stuck for 2 nights.

Re: Where can I get a Recent-Git-Build of FreeBASIC?
I noticed that when I visit the site I have to click on the reload button to get the updated content, it's probably an issue with my web browser but it could happen to others
Re: Where can I get a Recent-Git-Build of FreeBASIC?
The same for me (Firefox).
Re: Where can I get a Recent-Git-Build of FreeBASIC?
New changes do not always lead to an update of the 'manual.chm' like today.fxm wrote:@St_W,

Re: Where can I get a Recent-Git-Build of FreeBASIC?
That happens when I restart the server/system (like I did yesterday for updates), cause it looses the "reference state" then and can't check for changes.fxm wrote:New changes do not always lead to an update of the 'manual.chm' like today.
The fileserver is kindly provided by Sebastian, I can't change anything there, so I fear there's nothing I can do here. :-/srvaldez wrote:I noticed that when I visit the site I have to click on the reload button to get the updated content, [...]

hello St_W :-)
my comment was only meant to make visitors to your site aware that a reload might be required, it was not a complaint.

Re: Where can I get a Recent-Git-Build of FreeBASIC?
A third consecutive night with documentation pages having been changed but without any update to the manual.chm.

Re: Where can I get a Recent-Git-Build of FreeBASIC?
Thank you for updating the manual, probably triggered manually (see update time).
Re: Where can I get a Recent-Git-Build of FreeBASIC?
Again no updating of the manual for 3 nights (while there are changes every day).
Re: Where can I get a Recent-Git-Build of FreeBASIC?
Thanks fxm for the reports, I had a look at the logs and it looks like the FreeBasic wiki frequently returns a HTTP 500 error when the CI system asks for the RSS feed to check for changes:
I checked the URL manually right now and it worked (although it takes very very long until I got a response from the server). Not sure what I can do to improve the situation. As far as I know the FB wiki is currently built upon a slightly modified version of WikkaWiki, which can be found here: https://github.com/freebasic/fbwikka . It seems this fork of the original project hasn't been updated since 2016 and also the original project is End-Of-Life (see message from author: https://github.com/bakoontz/WikkaWiki) since mid 2020.

Indeed:
fxm wrote:For some time now, I have noticed that access times to Wiki are sometimes becoming very long.
Then it seems to me that if we are logged in, the access times become correct again.
Is it just a combination of circumstances ?
