It's not perfect

Some errors did pop up that did not occur in the original release. If it happens that the game does crash, run engine.bat and that will put you back at where you last were in the game.

I may have just fixed the problem. If you would like I can send you the file that needs to be replaced, or you can just download the game again.

Awesome. ^_^ Downloading as I type, though I really should go to bed and play later. Thanks for your work in getting this back out!

i know chaining the game was need for QB back in the day and i know this is only was mostly a stright port from the orginal source but still couldn't you have simple recompiled the other models as dlls instead of exes (by the way nice trick with the renaming them :) .GAM ) if you recompiled them as dlls you could dynamic link to them as the engine is running it should i think in theroy stop the nasty transistion from one model to the next. although i think you will have to alter you bliting stuff so each model doesn't reset the screen mode.

Thank you for the suggestion, however the next time I touch the source code will be when I start work on Revisited. I think it makes more sense to work on that than to spend more time on the original. Karendow Revisited will not use multiple exes so this won't be an issue :)

Thanks again,

okay cool. although if you ever get the time to try getting rid of the old chain thing please do since it really disrupts game play a lot.

Will download this version.

Anyway, I just want to say I'm very happy to see you back in the community(although I wasn’t here when you were originally here; :P) and to see you developing the next chapter of Kids of Karendow. I was highly amused with the humor in the chapter 1 and I'm a bit disappointed to see you are toning down the vulgar element in it. I think the vulgar part of it was the best. But maybe I should wait and see what you will cut out. The idea where Telly's sex with Jack keeps being mentioned by various people through out the game is brilliant. I think you are wrong in trying to please those few but loud touchy losers.

Speaking of losers, I...ahem..I'm so embarrassed to say this...accidentally deleted my save game position. Argh! I was in the part where I'm with the Blue Obidawas preparing to attack the Black Obidawas(in the forest). 7(if not more) hours of my life have been flushed out. So I won't be getting back to KoK very soon. You can understand. Anyway, that limiting save game feature is one of the few things I didn't like in KoK. Maybe one some other occasion I'll jab about it.

Cheers!

Sorry for digging up a really old thread, but does anyone still have the 32-Bit version of KoK? Was there any further development done after this re-release?

Nothing constructive to add --

You successfully necroed a 5+ year old thread. (Congratulations!) Hmm, it will be scary when people necro 10 year old threads.

@Agamemnus
He asks if anyone have a build of the game. It doesn't matter what age the thread has.

It would be nice if somebody has the game, can't remember if I ever played the FB version.

Yeah, just a comment on the age of the thread, nothing more.
