FB Community Rebuilding Project
The idea with Insight (.freebasic.net) was that it was user-submitted content. Not entirely, but enough so that we don't have to pull content out every week. Problem was, we got busy, and got a grand total of 2 submissions from the same person. Like Nek said, interest didn't seem too great.
As for the project tracker, I just built something very similar in Django that would take only a little bit of time to accomodate into project tracker--I'm willing to do it. It's sort of what is like right now on http://www.pygame.org.
Problem is, Django is python-based, and I don't have a web host atm that will run Django. If anyone has hosting that does have proper Python capabilities (anything that will run Ruby on Rails will be dandy) I can set it up over this weekend.
I agree with most of the sentiments on this thread, though, for the most part. I definately would love to see a proper FB magazine.

There was another one but they haven't done another issue yet and something tells me they're not going to...hell, I don't even remember what it was called. If I can find some time over this week, I'm going to start up FBOA, QBOA's "sequel".syn9 wrote:yea, thats sad. are there any other qb/fb mags out there ?
