Is the Extended Library no longer maintained ?
The last version I could find is 0.5.0 from 2014.

That is correct. There is a fork (https://github.com/danielt3/fb-ext-lib) with some changes to a json.bi file. But that seems the last thing that happened in the past 7 years. Actually github says: "This branch is 9 commits ahead, 11 commits behind FreeBASIC-Extended-Library:master."
