For those of you who missed MrSwiss' statement here it is:
He then made the cardinal mistake of 'proving' me wrong by using a constant value instead of the result of a floating point calculation. This sort of statement is the reason, that I don't trust code of yours.
I told MrSwiss that I had reported his statement to admin and that I would say no more until I got a response. He then immediately came back with:
Some of you may think that I am being thin-skinned but for someone as pedantic as I am there is no way that I can 'turn the other cheek' at the above. I write code with bugs in them, who doesn't, but for the most part I believe that what I have published here is robust. When publishing cryptographic work I think that authors should go 'the extra mile' and I have always felt a responsibility to do so.@deltarho, this must be a joke of yours.
Because, I stayed with it (even if 'sworn in'), by any court of law ...
I simply can't help it, if you can't take the truth.
That's what it is, no more, no less.
I enjoy programming and I enjoy programming in FreeBASIC and will continue to do just that. I think that I have made some good friends here and I will miss them.
