Search Engine Optimization

Post by anonymous1337 »

Apparently no one decided to put effort toward SEO after the site changed? No one will ever see our shiny, chromium-green theme now!

search results are personalized. Log out of google (and better yet use private browsing mode) and it is likely your results will differ.

However I do agree SEO should be improved and have the main site come up first. No matter how flattering for me it is to see FBIde first :P

Plain www.freebasic.net is no where in the results.

if the site violates html standards or has some configuration to have the bots ignore it, then no it wont be listed in results at all

Hmm...Interesting...I've been having problems accessing the site the last couple of weeks. I actually thought it was down because it kept giving me a 403 access denied. I couldn't find any posts elsewhere saying the site was down(surely there would be much panic!!). Turns out that I had my User Agent set to GoogleBot in order to read an abandoned forum that has been closed to new members but is still active. After restoring the User Agent to it's default "Mozilla..." I was able to access freebasic.net...So it looks like the site may be restricting access to search engine bots...

I want to order SEO optimization and promotion is here https://uaateam.digital/services/seo-management/ but, my company won't spend a lot of money, so I need to choose the best option. I'll think it over.
