Lots of things were put in this game. A bit of a warning: It's very difficult!

New Features for v1.1:

-Save feature inbetween levels

The original version of this game was written in Applesoft Basic 25 years ago and was called "Dungeon 2".

Requirements: 1024x768 display or larger
Recommended: 1 GHz+ and at least 256 MB.

Get ADrive.com , it's cloud sharing with a 14 day window of unlimited bandwidth free downloads. This 4:35 min wait to download, is really xxxx, I dislike it alot.

Also, jafile.com? Our own FB roll your own hosting?

:M

I'm WAITING to see if I like the game.
BTW I'm not advertising, I'm ranting, mildly.

I feel your pain. I can only recommend SkipScreen or some other addon at present to make the waiting easier.

Thanks everyone for the nice words about the game (so far).

BTW, nobody asked, but the reason I haven't released the source code is because at present there are a number of secrets embedded in the game and I'd like to keep them secret for a while. Maybe in future.

Every time I put the download screen to get ready to download in the background then tried to download it said "download timed out," so I'm rather miffed at not being able to get it.

I really like the presentaton, the gfx, and quick and simple rogue-like gameplay, although I think it needs some tuning. No sure what's the purpose of potions when you can rest to replenish your health. And the game most definitely needs a save game feature.

Jocke will love this.

I would say it wasn't a roguelike, if only because I've been writing a roguelike since 2008 and it's a lot different than this.

Potions are for when you're surrounded by beasts, getting attacked by several at once, or when you've just started the level and haven't got the armor for the level yet. It is VERY difficult to stay alive unless you are careful.

Considering making a save feature-- probably have it for v1.1.

Optional save when changing levels would be the best solution.

Hey man, this game is fun. How deep do you have to delve to get the damn amulet though? I was on level 16 (after HOURS of playing) and it was still no where to be found.

I liked that the dungeons got larger with each level though. Searching the deeper (12+) levels when they keep resetting is a pain. Fun, but a pain :P

Yeah, nice game. Good job there. The only thing I would wish for is some sound. I'm a die-hard audio enthusiast though. ;)
