Nedit highlighter?

Post by elcalen »

Hi!

It's a long shot, but has anyone by any chance made a syntax highlighter for the Nedit editor?

If not, I'll probably try to make one myself, but it'll be a while 'till I get around to it...

I started one but then I ditched it because nedit didnt appear to have any plans to move to GTK 2 so just started using gedit. Sorry.

No prob. ;) I've grown quite attached to Nedit myself, despite its rather oldfashioned GUI... (You can make it look a little better, though, by changing colours and such...)

Hmm, I've just had a chance to have a quick look at Nedit's highlighter system, and it looks rather complicated... :/

Who cares if Nedit looks "old fashioned"...it's probably the fastest standard text editor available for X. :) It's like the *nix version of Notepad, only better...

*much* better. ;) Yeah, I do think it's a pretty good editor, and it looks good enough in my opinion...
