Huh? I wonder how accidentally included the wrong .dll's?

Well, it doesn't look like we're going to have shadowing, unless we can get some shaders working. This is a screen shot that I took while I was running a shadow map test. You can see how jagged the shadow's edges are, and that was running a 32bpp depth buffer, 1280x1024 screen resolution and 1024x1024 depth buffer texture. I was only getting around 20 FPS. :(

Dunno, I did the oposite and replaced mine w/ yours (Cause yours was bigger in file size) and any other OpenAL works w/ it... so I doupt it's that... =P

Btw, I just get more detialed errors w/ that last patch.... Same stuff, Source generating errors.... no demo....

Couldn't you use some kind of blurring technique for the jagged edges, or simply "shave" off parts of the edges with some algorithm? Don't know how, but it seems plausible. ask around, someone will know how.

I got 60 FPS with the new demo, 61 FPS with the patch. Camera position 3 is way hard to use while driving the kart.

hehehe... it's totally uncontrollable! :)

Actually, the reason I posted that was because of an idea I had... I was thinking about adding a drag strip mini game. You could challenge someone to a one-on-one drag race for money. Like if you're not doing so good in the circuit, and you need money for better parts. ;)

I'll say, go for it. One suggestion is that you build a circuit with alot of ramps and stuff and let the player cause havok and crash into stuff (for money).

How many tracks are you planning to add to the game by the way?
