little tank cannon massacre video
It's getting better with every new release ...
Can you give some kinetic energy to a bombarded car ?
Like for 20ms apply strong upword acceleration enough to lift the car from earth to air .... and then let gravitation law G=m*g*h do its work...
...
It would be nice ... and very easy to implement .... BOOM LIFTER ...
(and add a little randomness to the vx/vy... to make it more real ..)
PS:
and you can give also some IMPULSE to the bombarded object in :
the impulse received from the explosion

Re: TileCity3D
TileCity has a new homepage "TilyCity.de"
You will find the new version 0.04, supporting a height profile to build real islands with beach and hills. The code has been cleaned up a little bit, especially for tile placement and the mini map.

Re: TileCity3D
Version 0.06 is out.
You can build bigger worlds. There are commands that makes build easy.
There are two types of maps (Key M and L).
The large map is an explorer map, where visited areas are printed clear and unvisited areas are printed hidden.

Re: TileCity3D
This is fantastic! :D
Re: TileCity3D
So nobody found the secret hidden egg?
Maybe I can reuse the same map next year ;-)
If you're interested, there's a very small island in the far east. You might use the plane to get there.
The large map may be helpful to find the island (press 'l').
@agamemnus:
There should be no border in the window. Or are you talking about if you switch to fullscreen?
The screen resolution must be 4:3 (640*480, 800*600 or 1024*768). If you have a 16:9 or 16:10 Screen on your computer, there might be borders at the left and right side.
That's a limit of the actual version of OpenB3D, which I use.

Re: TileCity3D
I was talking about your screenshot on Jan 15. I figured the rest were cut-outs, guess I was wrong.
Is it multiplayer yet??

Re: TileCity3D
TileCity come with new features now.
The most important last changes are:

You can change the vehicle by menu.
Press "V" for the vehicles menu and another key to choose a vehicle from the list.
You can spawn objects.
Press "S" for the spawn-menu and another key for the object.
Some objects move with the wind (Zeppelin, Ballon)
Listen to radio stations while driving.
Press "O" to switch radio stations (internet connection necessary to receive the streams)
Edit "radio.txt" to add your favourite stations to the list.
You can find more stations in the FB-forum (Projects - Simple Online Radio by VANYA, -> Link http://www.freebasic.net/forum/viewtopi ... 8&t=19243)
Day and Night.
Time changes and simulate day and night.
New Buildings
There are some new buildings (houses, industries)
V0.09:
On-Screen-Display
New screen layout for better overview.
OSD has been moved nearer to the camera. Now you can walk along walls and the OSD stay visible (not hidden by wall).
There's a new subtitles OSD with a nice font.
The "place:" command allow an island name as optional parameter.
You can give island names.
There are more informations during load, especially if actions take longer time you see, how many % have been done.
What comes next?
Aleatorylamp (known from BASIC-Gamer Issue #5, Sailing Simulator) is working on a mod to bring a sailing yacht and other vehicles to TileCity.
There's a video at tilecity.de, which shows the way to the hidden egg for the happy easter version V0.07 (SPOILER).
Have fun.

There's so much to do first, so maybe multiplayer will come later.agamemnus wrote:Is it multiplayer yet??
