Hiding data "behind" files on NTFS

I hope it can give interesting ideas to someone.

Perhaps it can be used to hide program flags, for example to save a game and make harder for the user to mess with the saved file

Interesting, I didn’t know most of that…
You could use it to hide a cryptographic signature of the file to prevent tampering.
But on the other hand, I guess you could also just keep the signature in plain view without much harm..
