FB WIN32 SVN Daily Build

Post by Imortis »

New Builds:
http://www.freebasic-portal.de/download ... uilds.html

Old builds:
Here is a full download and compile of FBC 0.21.0 from SVN.
7z version:
http://www.symbioticsoftware.net/imortis/FBWIN32.7z

Changes only version:
http://www.symbioticsoftware.net/imorti ... 2_small.7z

I used the method described in the Wiki article here.

I compressed it with 7-zip, because 7z got it nice and small (~50mb down to ~5mb).

If you need 7-zip you can get it here: http://www.7-zip.org/

EDIT: Hosted by MystikShadows. Thanks a bunch Myst!

At a glance, it all seems to be working...
But where's changelog.txt gone?

When I downloaded the SVN, I didn't seem to get that updated... Or maybe I just forgot to copy it to the output folder. I'll see if I can fine it, and if so, I'll re-upload the package.

I will worn you I only have 100gb of transfer a month, so I don't know ho many people can download this before my host will want to kick my butt for too much traffic.
Make your ISP happy and uploaded it to SourceForge.

It was updating, but I wasn't copying it to the output folder. The file has been updated. Thanks for pointing that out counting_pine.

Imortis, thanks for providing this. By the way, so people know before downloading, this is the Windows version. It might also be helpful to list any options you used when building the compiler.

I forgot to mention what platform this was for, so I changed the topic name. Also, I used the build instructions from the wiki page:

Immortis, thanks for providing this for us while my server is down. :)

I do hope to have it up and running soon but rl takes precedent over an expensive toy (even if you guys use it more then I do :P ).

btw, I hope I can help you reduce the package size a little, 9m is quite large even for a "large" download.

That would be great. It is the full package: examples, includes, libs. I even removed the .svn folders. I used 7zip on normal compression. Should I have gone higher? Or maybe a different compression type?

Also, MystikShadows plans to help me host it before too long. That will help out quite a bit.

Any comments or suggestions people can make on this are appreciated. I want to get it right.

Thanks for the zip version, John.

Also, I have made a minor update to the package. I forgot to remove the SVN folders from the archive, so that added a good chunk to the size. It's a little smaller now.
