problem: undefined reference to `fb_CpuDetect'

Postby mmlacak » Oct 23, 2005 10:11

A little app of mine used to compile correctly, including previous betas.
Today, however, after installing latest beta ( FB-v0.15b-oct-22-testing-win32 ), fbc spits out:

blag.o: In function `main':
c:/fb/blag/blag.bas:52: undefined reference to `fb_CpuDetect'

I checked it out, it seems that error checking compiler options ( i.e. -e, -ex and -exx ) cause the problem. If I remove it, everything is working OK.

Anyone ?

Strange, i can't reproduce it, probably the old libraries (libfb*.a) still been used instead of the last ones?

It is indeed due to the libraries. I had the same problem (with lots of other strange messages).
They disappeared after installing the oct 22-update again;
= make a clean copy of the stabe 0.14b version (not a previous 0.15!).
= add the new 0.15-components.

Good luck!
