MySql for a newbie

Postby fred57 » Oct 19, 2015 21:49

I've programmed in the 90's using Clipper, FoxPro, and Visual Basic. So I have some experience just not with Free Basic or MySql. Is MySql a good fit for use with Free Basic? Can someone show me some generic examples of code for connecting to MySql database and using the database? Where can I find some in depth info on using MySql with Free Basic?

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

You could use the mysql API directly or try mdTypes and have a look at this tutorial.
