Seems like a great tut but i dont understand it! Where does a super n00b go to learn the basics for this?

You should probably start with the Wiki and look over the topics there.

Most, if not all of the articles have examples posted. This should give you a good basic understanding. I do assume you have some knowledge on using FreeBasic or some other programming language.

My next project will be an introductory book on FreeBasic, but I need to get this done first. :)
