Wow, I've really known you guys for 10 years? It is true then what they say... restraining orders are highly ineffective.

Ahem: viewtopic.php?p=8675#p8675

I think the most amazing thing about that thread is Mysoft had no idea what he was talking about on the technical side, rather than simply because he has messed up philosophies on programming :P

I did not know this behavior in GDI mode (still true now).
I thought it was like with DirectX (100% of cpu usage).

And thank you (again?) for your contributions.
It was your escapi.bi that essentially persuaded me to stick with FreeBasic instead of persevering with C++ which, with hindsight, was probably a mistake having lost all those years honing any C++ skills. But FreeBasic was so easy to use and read that I couldn't help myself as it provided all that I needed at the time (Sep11 2006). I started as Basic Coder but forgot my password and thought I had to reapply but of course Basic Coder was already taken.

I looked into my old FreeBasic codes - the first ones were "translated" from QuickBasic 4.5 to FreeBasic in January 2006. The FLTK wrapper was one reason for me to stay with FreeBasic after having done some GUI stuff with Purebasic, though I am now doing some steps with my own TUI (with mouse support, suitable for the console window as well for the graphics window). So, D.J.Peters, thank you very much for your work and have a lot of further fun!
