this is new version coming in april 2013
In 2013, Canonical reached an agreement with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China to use Ubuntu as the new basis of Kylin

I dont get it its a new version of ubuntu .That linux is decades old and still after years of hype the popularity of that distro is not moving! how about new version of wine / android or something.
