Does anyone what's up with Jark ?

I don't know him but his fantastic QBASIC "mandelbrot-dazibao.com" web site
was one of the best QBASIC gfx site I ever saw and i's down for a long time.

I hope he is OK and only his site/domain is died !

Last time I spoke with him he was going through a divorce. Maybe he just decided to go live life more thoroughly and leave the programming hobby at bay for a while. ;)

I was in contact with Jark years ago when he was developing his Qbasic raytracer. The developement became an obsession for him (he worked on him while commuting and at lunch time), at the point he needed a long vacation after it. I guess he's not willing to repeat the experience.
Jark is a musician too, perhaps he's playing his Telecaster somwhere around Bordeaux...
I'm glad to know Jark's site is online in a different server. I had backed it up in my PC some time ago...

Jark has probably complained.

I got a note from my ISP i should remove all the mandelbrot-dazibao content from my server.

I don't know why but ok i deleted all and the archived site is down too.

For those who are wondering, this Jark does not seem to be the same Jark as the co-founder of deviantART. Or at least he didn't mention QBasic, raytracing or Mandelbrot stuff.
