That's an interesting graph, Lachie. Camel-shaped. Programmers come every other half-generation?

Not every generation as the vampire slayer? Hm.

I'm 29 by the way.

The half-generation in-between cannot be ignored.

QBworker - 15 - You get my vote as the wisest on this thread.

It doesn't count if I am a young man caught up in an old body does it? Can I add the 7 and 5 and say I am 12 and then add the 1 and 2 and say I am 3 ?
You know something like the 9 Game where the answer is always 9.

Hi all

bfuller , you can always call in for a cuppa.
I live on acres in Lake Albert area, conveniently close to the crematorium. (or so my wife says).

I will be driving to Sydney on Sunday night for a service call, and then back again to Wagga on Monday night.

Regards

A little late to the party... I'm 28 years old and was a migrant from the QBasicNews community. My fortunes changed for the better when I learned PHP / MySQL and got into Drupal development. Highly recommended. : D

Of course I still dream of writing FB games, but it's a little more difficult when my main computer is a Mac. :-/

@Ryan

"My fortunes changed for the better when I learned PHP / MySQL and got into Drupal development."

I made a SQL, a Squirrel, (paid to get it designed rather), for a web-comic I'm going to make, of a SQL Squirrel.

How did you learn SQL, learn it well, and how would someone begin to learn it from scratch?
From what I've seen, it reminds me of simple TEXT which activates methods, akin to stuff held in an EXCEL spreadsheet.

Kiyote

Very nice but -
This time I think you are the big bad wolf because watching your squirrel I found myself swaying left right in little tight movements. Are you being mischievous and trying to hypnotize us ?

A while back (a couple of years maybe), there was a website that had a map of the world and Freebasic users could place their location on the map--since we are being so open about age, i suggest we update the location info as well. Does anyone remember the website I'm talking about?
