Im not quite sure how to use createTexture(). I keep getting errors whenever I try to use it. If possible I would learn best from an example.

the original author of this tutorial is writing here. :) I'm really happy, that also the English speaking community is interested in my tutorial. I'll ask at my German forum for someone who wants to translate my work. Unfortunately I'm pretty busy right now to do this on my own. =/

Although It did only translate half the page. I found that (what I'm assuming) googles word for word translation is actually pleasant reading, not at all like some of the quickly written purelly technical articles written in english. Though I would like it translated. :)

make google translation do the dirty work and then have someone that knows german and english good to fix the robotic gramma errors and some words google dont have a clue what they mean :P

this line always gives an error, where is the function:

AbortGL( ERROR_TEXTURE, TextureCreate_Abort, __LINE__ )

It's actually a macro to set the internal error variable and then exit the function.

Just change it to whatever is an apropriate method to return failure for your own code.

I do not find the macro. where I can merge it I always get an error message:

Probably because you don't have the rest of my code which I just did a cut'n'paste of for that snippit. You will have to just remove the macro reference all together and put in your own code to handle early function termination.

this sub/function cannot find:

"BGRA_To_RGBA( col )"

col = BGRA_To_RGBA( col )

That just converts colour encoding from BGRA to RGBA. It's pretty simple to figure out if you try.

In the future, you may have to engage your brain. I'm not just handing out 'drop-in-code,' you may have to look at it and make it work for you. What do you expect for nothing?
