Thanks for posting updates.

How is everyone looking for March of 18th? I'm feeling an extension might be needed.

That's beautifully said, fxm. You are more wiser than I am.

Re: "A Love Letter To FreeBASIC" Game Dev Competition Community Poll (ROUND 1)

Hello everyone. I collected all the votes and added my scores, and I have the winners. It's just rather late here and I'm tired, so I'll compile a post with results and my comments tomorrow. Thanks for your patience.

Re: "A Love Letter To FreeBASIC" Game Dev Competition Community Poll (ROUND 1)

Hey v1ctor, would you be so kind to close the poll on 26th, any time if day. I would like to count the votes after Tuesday.

Everyone else, make sure you cast your vote before that, if you haven't already.

Re: FreeBASIC Community produced game

If it went the way of a NanoHost revival, there are some ideas I've had in mind for years. Lua script AI files. Have the AI script specify urls for the sprites (and sounds?). Write and save your AI scripts in-game. Save AI to 'cloud'. Load any AI from the cloud. Script may or may not be made privat...

Re: FreeBASIC Community produced game

I'm usually sceptical about this sort of voluntaristic group work, but that's hardly a controversial stance. It would definitely require a strong head designer, who could rally people up around his idea, especial one or two people good with pixel art. The rest of the details could be sorted out in s...

Re: "A Love Letter To FreeBASIC" Game Dev Competition (Oct 2018 – Feb 2019), 1000 $ 1st prize

BTW, anyone playing ChangeV's entry? It's starting to grow on me, more and more. I am confused by the enemies stying on the playfield mechanics. I dig the idea, I'm just not sure if two type of enemies should remain with the same sprites after getting killed, even cycling walk animation in the case...

Badidea, approved! Sorry, I can't update the forum anymore, I need to reinstall it, but I feel weary of loosing the database or breaking something. I should prolly take sometime to do it, but everytime I get back to FBGD, it feels inconvinient. Anyone can vote in the community poll. I leave individu...

Hello...... Many people love this official game programming contest in our FreeBASIC community. This contest is a constructive tradition in our community. I suggest that this official game programming contest should not be abandoned. This official game programming contest should be held once per ye...

"A Love Letter To FreeBASIC" Game Dev Competition (Feb 2019 –Mar 2019) - Round 2

Hello everyone! I hope you don't mind me opening a topic for round 2 of the competition, not to clutter the original post which I think should be about round 1 entries, announcing winners, post-results comments, etc. For round 1 participants you can vote here: http://games.freebasic.net/forum/index....

Added missing/incorrect links for Impossible Victhorse, correct executable for The Secret Garden (build 1), and added source for The Secret Garden. Sorry for the blunders there. BTW, any admins here? mambazo of The Secret Garden can't restore his account. Account name mambazo. If someone could help ...
