Re: Small world... Interesting community encounter (v1ctor)

Hey, guys, sup? Are you sure that's really me? I mean, I'm a civil servant here in Brazil (writing and maintaining software for tax collection), so unless you are working for the Brazilian gov, I don't think we are in the same company :) Or maybe it's just an account I've there.. what company is tha...

Re: fbc-0.9 documentation

TJF, that's pretty cool.

I always wanted to see how the call graphs for some functions in the FB sources.

The cProcHeader looks really complex. Can anybody find a call graph more convoluted than that? :)

Re: Examples and Tricks?

I don't think changing the name will help.

The description shows "Source-code only - please, don't post questions here." and even so people still posting questions.

Re: FreeBASIC forum "phpBB : Critical Error"

The forum was finally updated to version 3, let's hope it now will be easier to deal with spammers and bots.

We have yet to update things like the code plugin to add support to the fb language as in the old forum.

No, there's no plan to support multiple inheritance.

The class memory layout and RTTI data are compatible with GCC, so in theory you could reuse the C++ libs compiled with GCC if the headers are translated.

The new site is online! Thanks sir_mud for all the hard work.

We will try to migrate the forums this weekend.

The wiki will still the same, and the archive probably won't be migrated. If we add a archive module, the files will have to be re-uploaded, sorry.

For now, that's pretty much that, "extends, object, base, is". With interfaces and virtual methods, "interface" and "virtual" will also become reserved words. "class" is also reserved. There's no use for it, and may not be in future. The idea was to make "...

fxm: thanks for testing the new OOP features, we really need more tests to add to the suite and most of your reports are bugs that should be fixed - and weren't noticed without your help.

I really enjoyed this one: Insidious.

It's full of clichés, but on a movie theater the sound edition is really effective with the girls in the crowd screaming.
