Re: Icon cache corruption
dodicat, I am happy to see that you are back to the forum! And thank you for this clear post. Though I am surely not one of the most active members in this forum, I like it and look often what is going on. I agree that the quality has decreased, but I think that should not prevent interested members...

Re: I downloaded the latest version of FreeBASIC and to my horror it had no windows editor
For whatever reason the GUI editor that used to be the linchpin for FreeBASIC is no longer included on the FREEBASIC download so what has happened, is it even still supported? I think the situation is not so complicated. Which FreeBASIC download do you mean, and which GUI editor? FreeBASIC itself i...

Re: SetTimer event issue
I think the timer identifier should be nonzero. And the first part of the message loop looks a bit strange. Should it be like this? SetTimer(Window_Main, 1, 1000, 0 ) '<4th> Do 'Main loop to check WinAPI event states: WaitEvent(Window_Main, msg) Select Case msg.message '<4th> '< Timer works but with...

Re: FLTK headers for FreeBasic OOP (no C wrapper)
Yes, I pushed the headers in the new FreeBasic release. Since the code by D.J. Peters is a wrapper, made to work in non OOP languages, the syntax is different, so the programs written with his wrapper won't work with the new headers. Although it will still be possible to use his wrapper, since the ...

Simple WinAPI Library (Modified)
As announced here ( https://www.freebasic.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24617&start=60 ), a modified version of my library can be downloaded at FreeBASIC Portal (https://www.freebasic-portal.de/downloads/bibliotheken/einfache-winapi-gui-bibliothek-modifiziert-403.html). This version does not use the...

Re: Simple WinAPI GUI library
I am working on a modification of this Windows library. It is not based on the Windows system dialog box (Windows class "#32770"), it is possible to register a Windows class with predefined standard parameters, and it is necessary to write a callback function (WndProc). Code example: '====...

Re: FLTK headers for FreeBasic OOP (no C wrapper)
Just a curious question, because I used FLTK-C-1.3.3 for FreeBASIC by D.J.Peters https://www.freebasic.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24547 some years ago: Am I right that these new FLTK headers for FreeBASIC OOP will be distributed within the next FreeBASIC package? I see that a lot of people have used ...

Re: Console Input/Output at Console Application
Hi mosbruc, the code from the example from the Wiki is used if you are running some stuff on an a grafics screen and you want to do something addional on the console. "Open Cons" can e.g. be used to display test messages on the console for debugging purposes if your program is running on a...
