You may find this useful:

ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/software/retail/pubs/hw/poss/bey5mst.pdf

I would guess that /N is the switch to specify the device name and "CASH1" is the actual name. So probably you would want to use:

Code: Select all

open "CASH1" for random as #1

You should read that article, you might learn something.

1) The problem wasn't the forum
2) It's not my software
3) It's not a hosting issue
4) You don't know anything about me so I'll overlook your last statement

This topic is not about hacks and php in general. Notice the thread topic: "Freebasic.net got hacked." If you want to go off on a tangent about your perceived notions of the security risks of PHP go ahead, but don't complain because I posted something relevant and on-topic. I'll stop calling you out...

The site was hacked around 8:30 this morning by a script kiddie using an anonymous proxy in Turkey (78.180.239.65). He found freebasic.net by a google search looking for sites to exploit via PHCDownload (Freebasic Archives uses this script). It was not any kind of targeted attack. The site has been ...

memory_limit has been increased to 64MB, the sky is not falling and we're not gonna die. The site was been down a few times last month and now the wiki is self destructing. I think the members here have to come to the realization that there is no motivation from "Phat Code" to update a custom forum ...

v1c has control of the freebasic site; I just host it for him. What forum he wants to use is not my business or responsibility. Great ! Does that mean no backups are being done either? A MIA author managing the FreeBASIC project site? Sure makes me feel better. That answers the question why the for...

Yes, the DOS version supports playback of MP3 and other formats, as well as the same filter set as the other platforms. There are a lot of drivers for older sound cards, but the only ones that are likely to be useful today are the standard Sound Blaster and SB16 drivers. John Miles RAD Game Tools T...

Thank you. I think I should use the second alternative. I didn't even think about the possibility to emulate that interrupt. I'll test and see if I can pull out sound like that. I am concerned about DOS not recognizing new PCI sound cards. When I said "standard", I meant that, if such card (ISA) is...
