The first form does not compile, since dingdong$ is not declared as a SUB. EDIT: BTW, the following program runs in QB but not in FB (it hangs after the first choice): DIM Choice AS INTEGER DO INPUT "Choice (0, 1 or 2) : "; Choice ON Choice GOSUB Sub1, Sub2 LOOP UNTIL Choice = 0 EN...

Yes, it's one of the two I mentioned...

The other one is by Randy Keeling and uses RPN.

Two parsers have been proposed in the old QBN forum. I have saved them in the "Files" section of my mailing list (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/fbmathlib/files/Parsers/)

If you prefer, I can repost them here.

Thanks for your interest. I think I will try to add hypercomplex numbers, too. They are more interesting than quaternions to produce fractal graphics.

I have posted a quaternion library in the "Tips & tricks" forum.

Now all you have to do is write a quaternion fractal program...

FreePascal has a switch to choose between Intel and ATT syntax in in-line assembly. Since it uses AS, too, this could also be possible in FB.

Try this:

I am working on a complex module for my FBMath library. I could add a quaternion library next.

People use to add huge images to signatures and stuff like that, the [www] button should be enough, imo. I may tweak the phpbb script again to strip anything but text or url's on signatures though. On the profile creation form, the length of the signature is limited to 255 characters. Is this not s...

Signatures are a convenient way of giving the URL of your project. Without signatures you have to type in the URL each time you announce an update, which is tedious and prone to error. If this is possible, I would recommend to allow signatures in posts, since they are already enabled in the profiles.

Thank you very much for your explanations. I have made the modifications suggested by Victor. Now it works!

I will try to get the new file, but I have never used CVS.

In the meantime, could you please tell me how I can do the same with Linux? Which libraries should be linked?

How to build a library on top of GfxLib?

I have a module for plotting curves (plot.bas) and a demo program (plotfunc.bas). The module uses only calls to GfxLib. If I compile with "fbc plotfunc.bas plot.bas" I obtain the executable (plotfunc.exe) and it runs very well. If I try to convert the module to a library with "fbc plot.bas -lib" I o...
