It depends how hackish you want your program. :-P I made an email page; all you have to do is hit it to send an email. This isn't the best way, but it works. ;-) *URL REMOVED* I'd take that link off, somebody, somewhere, will start abusing it to send spam for sure ;) Edit: looks like I quoted the U...

http://www.cs.virginia.edu/~evans/cs655/readings/ewd498.html It is practically impossible to teach good programming to students that have had a prior exposure to BASIC: as potential programmers they are mentally mutilated beyond hope of regeneration. Nice try buddy, now shove it and GTFO of this for...

here :) my_loop was missing the 'static' modifier, which is necessary to be able to obtain the function pointer (fbc quirk) and also, you need to call "Sleep 0, 1" in both the thread and your loop, to give both loops a chance to lock the mutex mutually and exclusively, the mutex insures that they ge...

well, here's something more complex, not very cross-platform as you see, but i think it could be made cross-platform if i get the chance to play around with pthread.. #include "windows.bi" type Thread_ as Thread type ThreadProc as function (byval Sender as Thread_ ptr, byval as any ptr...

That last version solved my probelms.. great work.. Thank you :)

By the way, does FBEdit have a limit on the number of modules in a single project? ever since my project hit the 150+ modules milestone, it keeps on crashing every time i try to compile it.

(and steadily growing, as I add new features) but my real problem is, it takes AGES to compile it every time, even though I set it to the "Recompil...
