Probably from a hickup trying to distinguish between m for MONTH or m for MINUTES

From:
http://www.apostate.com/vb-format-syntax

m = Display the month as a number without a leading zero (1 - 12). If m immediately follows h or hh, the minute rather than the month is displayed.

yes - you need to D/L the lib executable thats used... GTK has theirs, others like Allegro, FMOD etc... all have their own.

The sticky note at the top of the LIBRARIES sub-forum here have links to all the 3rd party lib dev websites.

Thanks for pointing that out, we should have noticed that... ... I think my suggestion would be to just ignore and remove the tag, given the lack of impartiality from the person who added it. As per the rules.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Guide_to_deletion You must not modify or remove...

I'm thinking that should maybe read like: - Those comfortable with any Microsoft(R) variant of BASIC will find FreeBASIC requires only a minimal learning curve. Then start a new bullet point... - FreeBASIC offers three sub-dialects chosen by command line arguments when calling the compiler: "-lang f...

I wasnt much into QB personally - but I ended up needing a simple, free, compiled BASIC - and I found FB to be *the* best for my admitted, limited needs (no *need* for GUI for instance) - And I tried quite a few too (commercial demos included) - either the IDE was too complex, or too simple. FBIDE w...
