It might have something to do with you using "pt #2,a,b$" instead of "put #2,a,b$"

Oh, I get it. Interrupts are done in assembly, qbasic just put it in a function form to make it easier. Does anyone know how to make a similar interrupt function?

Look, it's not impossible. Do you think the xml libs just poofed out of thin air? Someone had to write them, and they did it without any bulky libraries.

from wotsit, it looks like bmp and ico are exactly the same. Why can't the program detect them? do they have different headers?
