Re: simple stack-based eval

Hi TJF
in this very simple evaluator I do a very poor number parsing, it's done in the sub factor
I added E to the numeric character list and entering a number in exponential format will now works but there's no checking for valid number entry

Re: winfbe

@Julius10
if you want a visual designer that has keyboard shortcuts for everything then perhaps JK-IDE is what you want, https://jk-ide.jimdofree.com/
it's a Windows SDK IDE/designer meaning that in order to write a GUI application you need to know the Windows SDK

@veltesian
the FreeBasic manual has all the information that you need, in the WinFBE IDE press F1 to bring up the manual
you can also double-click on the manual to launch it

Re: question about keeping count?

@veltesian try this also, on your form place an UpDown control then with the UpDown control selected on the events tab check Click, then add this code Function Form1_UpDown1_Click( ByRef sender As wfxUpDown, ByRef e As EventArgs ) As LRESULT if Form1.UpDown1.delta>0 then Form1.Text1.Text = str(val(F...

Re: question about keeping count?

if on your form you have a TextBox then in the designer select the TextBox then on your Toolbox select events and check KeyDown then you can intercept the keys pressed while the Textbox has the focus, for example Function Form1_Text1_KeyDown( ByRef sender As wfxTextBox, ByRef e As EventArgs ) As LRE...

Re: question about random nums genr8tion? ... true RND? or not?

do you want to generate more than one random number? if so, then I think you need to call randomize in FormLoad and not in the Btn1_Click in the designer, click on the title bar of your form to select it, then on your toolbox select the events tab and put a check on Load you will then need to call R...

Could I ask you not to post soft pornographic images on the forum?
If you could remove the images in your post, or replace them with screenshots using a different sample image, that would be appreciated.
Thanks.

thank you counting_pine
