I didn't get any, maybe because I only use the web browser? I'm in Linux, and Yahoo! Messenger do not have a version for Linux. I also haven't noticed your post because I'm busy the last few days (graduation, etc).

NSIS have commands to ask for permission. There is a plugin to install a program system-wide or in a single user. Though I don't know if that specific installer uses those.

It won't show up because GTK+ will not create a console for you (yes, even running in command prompt will not work!). Screen functions or compiling without "-s gui" will create one. Command still works , but there is no console to Print to. So it's like I assumed. Without the SCREEN command there a...

GTK+tobac doesn't use the SCREEN command, it uses GTK for the windows -- this may be the reason for the differences? Does COMMAND only work after SCREEN on windows (with option -s gui)? It won't show up because GTK+ will not create a console for you (yes, even running in command prompt will not wor...

Those files are for you and AGS's use only since GTK+ 3 is still not released. I wasted a day to compile it, because I wanted to test my cross-compilers. Though I don't think that is important now. And yes, GTK+ have some changes in the naming. That is not my fault. The specific codes for platforms ...

@Galeon: No comment ... Eh? I have to agree on this Eh. Almost all packages are in the package created by Galeon (including import libraries). Sometime I read 'you must' when there is no need to do anything. Then I read 'You may' when there is a real need to get something running. This is confusing...

That shouldn't show up because FBSound is compiled with FreeBASIC which would always give 32-bit binaries (at least it should). That error shows up when linking a 64-bit library to a 32-bit program.

@Galeon: Thanks, this may be a good start! Unfortunately we can't test because some files are missing (ie pango, cairo, cairo-glib, ...). Try 'gtk3-demo.exe' - when it's running all files are avialable. Here's a compressed archive with GTK+ 3.0: http://www.galeon.exofire.net/GTK+-3.0.7z . It contai...

Try this: declare Function dllFunction lib "example" () as integer function dllFunction () as integer export function = dllFunction end Function example.dll.a should be in the script's directory. Lib only needs the name of the library without the extension. If you'll add .d...

Re: How do I create and link objects to the main module?

... you could just compile it to an object file (with lang fb) and link it to your main program (compiled with lang qb). To clarify, say I call the above listed code "GetFileName.bas" fbc GetFileName.bas and create an object file GetFileName.o THEN Would the main QB program have a line such as #inc...

Here's a compressed archive with GTK+ 3.0: http://www.galeon.exofire.net/GTK+-3.0.7z . It contains GTK+ 3.0.0, GLib 2.28.0, ATK 1.33.6 and DBus 1.4.1. You may use the files from http://www.gtk.org for the other libraries. Note: it may contain other files not necessary or part of a non-related librar...

I could give you some, and yes I forgot DBus is also another new requirement of GLib. And its quite hard to compile. I'll try to upload some binaries for you.
