Not likely, fbgfx is fairly solid. If you are experienceing jerky movement, it could be due to a number of things. Is your rendering loop running at full speed? IE do you have a sleep(15) or something similar in it? Is your computer slow? Do you have a large volume of computations, or a very large l...

Some people think C is better because those who go on and on about the merits of one language over another usually don't actually have that much experience in many other languages. C is not better then BASIC. It's better then BASIC at some things. For example comparing FB and gcc. C is faster. (Opti...

The thing that gets me, is that openGL 3.0 is just a spec, yeah ok they didn't deliver what they promised, but it doesn't stop driver writers from implementing the features that were dumped anyways (like they currently do). It just means that these new features won't be in the core API. And of cours...

Another one of these... While its you attempt to make it clear that you aren't trying to bash FB, you really are. Of course the usual retort is "well if you want QB so bad use QB". FB is not QB, it can't be expected to grow as a language, and remain the exact same as QB at the same time. All of that...

yeah, not only that, no one is gonna pay anything for some unknown piece of software, you'd at least have to provide a demonstration, docs or something.

You know, we could look at things realistically, and the reality is, if you are too impatient, and close mined to do some independent research, and actually attempt to debunk your own wildley flammable claims, before dropping them on a forum, then perhaps computer programming is not for you. Program...

LUT's are usually faster for smaller LUT's because they tend to cache better. Otherwise modern processors are fast enough, and support out of order execution anyways, and therefore calculating on the fly will probably be just as fast as grabbing a value out of non cached memory. Of course this depen...

Actually the initial versions of this had both the client and server in the same binary, the issue I found was that it was hard to distinguish the two. I figured since I was writing this for people who perhaps didn't have a very solid grasp on network programming, confusing them further for the sake...

Network multiplayer Tic Tac Toe in FB

I know, sounds amazing right? Well as far as TTO goes, its generic, and does nothing new. That wasn't the goal however, the goal was to write a simple, mostly well written game to demonstrate how to properly network a program. The goal was also teaching myself how to better handle a networked system...

Dim as isn't redundant because it ultimately accomplishes what its meant to, BASIC is meant to be verbose, Dim as makes it very clear as to what action is being performed. Something along the lines of Integer i, k, a would be more akin to C, which attempts to be concise, at the cost of readability.

of course the more constructive answer, is that FB doesn't switch automatically between fullscreen, and windowed, you have to do that manually.

Md5 library + helper class

Well like the topic says, this is an MD5 library I found on the internet, I did not write the original library, but I did port the header.

There is also a helper class, and some demo code that demonstrates the basic functionality of it, both written by me.
