Hi SARG, Another thing that I noticed is that the CMD line argument is not being saved correctly between sessions in your ini file. If any file that is not a .exe file is used as a command line argument then it will not be loaded from the ini file. I noticed this when trying to pass a .bas file to t...

Hi SARG, Thanks for the new version, it does seem to be working better now. I am able to trace through the fbc.exe without the debugger GPF'ing. I have uploaded the files you requested to: http://www.freebasiccompiler.com/files/fbc_debug.rar (902K) Also, I noticed that when I am single stepping thro...

Hi SARG,

I am pretty sure that this is the version that I was using:

This is an older version of the SQLite Client/Server product. That product was replaced/updated with an entirely new code base called SQLitening. It is a much better code base and much more robust and functional. You can get the code from the dedicated SQLitening forums: http://www.sqlitening.com/su...

Hi SARG,

Are you able to debug the FBC exe itself using FBDebugger? I compiled fbc and all of its objects using the -g option but when I start stepping through the code it GPF's when I get to around the compileFiles() line in the fbc.bas file (line 255).

SARG, I downloaded the most recent svn code and recompiled the fbc.exe using your new emit debug change. You can get the new fbc.exe from this link (it is only the fbc.exe, it should work with your current Imortis download). http://www.freebasiccompiler.com/files/fbc.rar (421K) Please let me know if...

I doubt this is an FB problem. More likely the window styles that you are using are redrawing the backgrounds on resize and then the controls on the dialog are also redrawing causing the flicker.

Oh, also it would be nice if we could set the font for the source code window. Courier New would make the source characters line up better.

Thanks SARG, you've written an excellent program. I certainly appreciate your efforts with FBDebugger. Too bad that we can debug the global/shared variables (I think I remember you commenting on this limitation in the emitted debug symbol information). I downloaded the lasted 0.21 (11-17-2009) and n...

Thanks guys, I've discovered that those strange paths are hardcoded into the resulting EXE (I'm using 0.21 to create the EXE). As a workaround, I basically created a second program that loads the EXE and searches for those weird paths and replaces them with just the filename. I then run FBDebugger f...

GDB/Insight/FBDebugger question

Hi, I have been trying to get my code to run in GDB, Insight or FBDebugger. I compile the code with the -g option but when I try to load the EXE into the debugger I always get a "file not found" error for the source code (ie. the exe loads but the corresponding source code does not). When I look at ...
