I had a program for recording waves ... it was using waveIn to achive that... But it's not working in windows 7 [and vista]... (waveInOpen returns no error but when i read for stream it returns "bulk"$%#@) @chung: Does anyone knows how to use MCI_RECORD with mciSendCommand ? it seams this ...

If this really hapend then is big chance for linux . I was wondering is posible that whole win32 api someone translate to linux in some similiar shape,that would be powerful api for linux . just thinking..... you just said wine ... wine is a win32 emulator for linux which is getting very complete ....
