I don't know who you THINK you are, but I've been writing software longer than you've probably been born. And if that's not the case, your attitude is deplorable for an adult.

We are done.

Thank you for answering my question. It may have been hinted at here and there by other posters, but I needed an authoritative response source.

Cheers!

You should have read the post before I edited it! (I try to stay professional) I only answer posts when I think I have a positive contribution, not to pick apart the syntax or semantics of the poster. This is what you did (and actively do from what I read of your many postings). I am sorry you were ...

That isn't related to FBgfx.bi, which I think it just a part of the normal FB Package (check the text uptop in the .bi and see what it says). Please don't take information out of context. The quote from the help file clearly states.. Gfxlib is "built in" into the language, it is not necessary to in...

It is not my intention to SPAM. I would just like the person who created FBGFX or other authority to simply set the record straight. If you look at each thread this subject come up in, it starts out as something completely different. 1. Asking if FreeBASIC can be used for commercial apps. 2. Posting...

License for FBGFX?

From the FreeBASIC help CHM..[FB-manual-chm-02.jul.2007.chm] How can I link/use Gfxlib? Gfxlib is "built in" into the language, it is not necessary to include any .bi file or to link any library explicitely. FB detects you want to use Gfxlib when it finds a Screen or ScreenRes instruction. So to use...

The ambiguity of the FBGFX license is causing me to reconsider if FreeBASIC is a language I should bother using in the first place. It is disingenuous, in my opinion, to have reference to FBGFX commands in the FreeBASIC help as if they are part of the standard runtime library. I don't see documentat...

I am avoiding FBGFX until the licensing issue is resolved. See thread... http://www.freebasic.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9284&start=15&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight= Until then, this method is valid for FBC 0.18 release and can easily be modified if the header changes. Here is a ...

Direct Image Buffer Access Macros

Browsing the forums, I've never seen a simple example of accessing the properties of an image buffer. Hope someone finds these macros useful. #Define imgSizeX(imgBuffer) Peek(Integer,imgBuffer+8) #Define imgSizeY(imgBuffer) Peek(Integer,imgBuffer+12) #Define imgPitch&...

You could try this to insert at the beginning of the array... Sub NetMeterStats.AddData (uiBC As UInteger, dbTS As Double) Dim Temp(1 To NDP_MAX) As NTMTR_DATA_PT If (uiBC = 0) Then Exit Sub MoveMemory @Temp(2), @DataPts(1), SizeOf(NTMTR_DATA_PT) * ...

Game Intro Video Preview

I have made the intro video to my new game available for preview here... http://www.eastoncomputers.com/GameIntro.avi (5.5mb - 02:18) It uses Mpeg4/MP3 for the A/V compression respectively. I would appreciate constructive criticisms as this is my first attempt at video production. And NO, I will not...

Well at this point it looks like If I eliminate linking fbgfx then I should be ok. I don't think I am using anything there anyway.

Cheers!
