Broken link? This sounds cool, it would be nice if you put it on a more permanent site!

Entirely true. I think I would be fairly bored with RPGs in general if the characters weren't interesting. Of course, in MMORPGs I *become* the character, so it's an entirely different story there...

Forward References?

I'm writing an object for image handling - specifically, heightmap generation. My object allows heightmaps to be created using different kinds of generators (noise, perlin, etc.) I allow the user to set their own generators using pointers to simulate polymorphism. The problem is that the generators ...

You can also use Bochs for emulation. I wanted to write an OS for a while, still do but I probably won't be doing that for a while. It's probably better to do it in C, because FreeBasic relies so much on libraries, but of course it's entirely possible to write an OS in FB... as opposed to QBasic, fo...

N00b question about wx-c

Hey, I want to write a FreeBasic program with wx-c. I've got the main GUI worked out, but I have a couple of questions that I can't find anywhere in the wxwidgets manual (or can't understand because the manual is for C++ rather than FB). (a)How do I get events from the window when the window also ha...

Interesting, I found the same tutorial a couple weeks ago but have been too busy to try it out. I want to write a program for making heightfields like that, so it's a nice bit of code.
