How BASIC is freebasic? Well although I was probably the first to state certain things about FreeBasic in the past (my review article in QB Express for example). I'll be the first to admit that even though at the time I was probably right, Today, the article I wrote back then is just about void if n...

Mambazo, have you tried the Linux Multimedia Studio? http://lmms.sourceforge.net/ Open Source, free, looks good. And if it doesn't do OGG I'm pretty sure there are converters out there that do this conversion like this converter: http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=12608 Hope this helps.

@MystikShadows: The recent thread has led to the topic being brought up, but it wouldn't have been a good place to discuss it rationally. I understand that Counting_Pine. No problem there. :-) As users of FreeBASIC, what are you guys' understanding of lang fblite? My understanding of fblite is that...

Possible Solution to threads like the one that was started.

I tried to post this but the thread got locked before I could hit Submit it seems. But I think perhaps one thing can be learned from that whole thread is that the way FB is introduced to the outside world may be misleading (not misleading as in not true, just misleading as in not in the way that is ...

HI xbgtc, I just tried it and well so far it looks good, good intro screen. I don't know if it's my PC specifically (a dell lattitdu laptop) but when I started the game, the intro screen is shifted 1/2 to the left (hence i could only see the right side of the intro screen. After that, it started to ...

Any known limits to the number of screen buffers in SCREEN?

I'm asking because I get a situation that seems weird to me. And I wanna make sure that it's not a bug in the compiler or an error on my part ;-).
