Basically I want to call interrupt 10h to change the video mode, for example

Do you have that done already? reason I asked is I started an odbc port a little while ago...I could send it to you for a bit of a head start...:-) if you do have that done (test program and all) zip it and upload it to my website (http://www.ascii-world.com) in the "Sub Project" menu on the left......
