I'm just going to wait on something like this from admins and dev team. If a rewrite is imminent (read a must) and a syntax change (that one I get less) well I would like to know what the new syntax should be (or is already planned to be perhaps). But I'd like to know what the new direction would be...

Wow, that's what I get for readign changlogs at 5AM before my first 5 cups of coffee. lol. Thanks stylin, I thought I paid attention when I read that, but obviously, I wasn't lol. Well, let me say that those changes probably did (i'm thinking the default parameters issue probably did the trick here....

I didn't read about them in the change logs. Bit code I wrote for 0.18.3 now seem to work as expected in 0.20.0. So I'm asking coderjeff or anyone else that might know, if anothing was changed concerning comm support in 0.20.0 or if other statements like file manipulation PRINT #1, LINE INPUT #, GET...

Hmm weird...just before I push this any further...I'm gonne delete and reinstall freebasic 0.20.0b and see what happens.

Multikey And Text Mode.

Hi everyone, Ok, I have this program that test if the user pressed SHIFT (any of them). If I'm in graphics mode that works great with Multikey. But of I'm in regular text mode (SCREEN 0), SHIFT isn't being detected at all. If multikey doesn't work in text mode, is there another way to get the status...

Yeah Screen(X,Y) works with the visible page because it gets the character of video memory which is always what's displayed (at least in QB....I guess it wouldn't take much to either add an optional parameter or do something independant that can go play in the "work" pages.
