I like the idea here Immortis. I like the way macrosubstitution is used too.

Does this work with UserDefined types too as is or would modifications be needed?

Really awesome work. :)

5. source code for Skynet's T-800 infiltration unit

I might be able to find you the code to that but you won't be able to compile it for another 77 years (if I recall lol).

I would wait a service pack or two for IE 8.0 before actually using it. wouldn't be surprised if it was a simple issue of a IE8 bug.

D.J. I tend to wonder about the implementation of trigonometric functions. not in the formula they use internally.

there's more than one way to implement atan2 for example. I'm sure there's other differences. Just a thought.

Usually, a permission denied error means that you still have the exe running. And therefore fbc.exe can't write a new version of the final executable file.

Hope this helps.

I just tried this and I like the changes you made from 12 to 13...I'm a fan of FB-CAD because it's a more serious role for FB programming :). and you're doing an awesome job demonstrating that side of FreeBASIC....Good going.

And I'm following this with great interest. :)

May I suggest a data dictionary?

basically a linked list with the ability to locate elements by their index or by a a named index

Dictuionary.Add( "mystik", <other values> )

and then
Print Dictionary.Elements(1).Name
PrintDictionary.Elemetns("Mystik").Name.

Just a suggestion.

VB and Component Object Module (COM)

Just wondering what exactly would be needed in order to integrate COM to FB? or has it been done (or at least tried) before?

I did some forum searches to no avail. So I would like to know what's happening with COM objects. :).

Thank you
