Oh, I will! I looked at the GL examples and have seen things that I KNOW QB could never do. I just can't wait til I understand some new concepts.

actually I'm refering to giflib because it was one that I remembered.

The actually example calls for, one sec, alleg40.dll sorry for the confusion.

my problem is that I thought it already had the libs.

I've already restored it to it's original name.

If I understand this right I should be trying to compile all the *.dll.a files as libraries or am I completely lost?

Error messages

I didn't know where to put this topic so I put it here. Every time I run an example program it says it can't find gif.dll or whatever. When I look at the library folder there is a libgif.dll.a but when I strip it of the lib part and the .a part it doesn't work at all! I'm getting ready to give up on...
