Re: Box Problem

I am trying to write a card game but don't really want to give out the source code right now unless I absolutely need help. I am just wary of other people taking my ideas.

Box Problem

This is probably an easy fix and one if not the dumbest question ever asked on this forum, but I am tired and most likely not thinking staight. But I have written this code to draw 25 boxes along the top of the screen but it only draws the first two. screenres 320,640 dim as integer pixel1, pixel2, ...

SpriteSheet

If I have a spritesheet with 25 different colors each 1 pixel big, is there a way to display a certain pixel, say pixel 5 of the sheet? This is just an example. I am trying to learn more about how to use spritesheets in freebasic, but I am a beginner and the programs I have found are so technical I ...

hotspot

In other program languages there are sometimes hotspots or something to the equivalent. Is there a way to do this is freebasic. For example: If I have 10 boxes, and want to move an object to say the third box, can I set each box to its own variable and then have my program send the piece to that box...

Re: DATA

I think I already know the answer to this question, but can I change variable's in a DATA statement during runtime?

Say: DATA "1,3,1,1,1,4,2" to DATA "1,2,2,4,2,1,2"

If I remember correctly I can't but I just thought I'd ask anyway.

Max Lines

Is there a maximum number of lines you can have in a file/program? I have a program that has been compiling for at least an hour. It has 1002004 lines of code so far.

OpenGL

I have been scouring the net looking for OpenGL tutorials, but all I can find are for C/C++. Are there any tutorials for QB/Freebasic? I have some background for it in java but even that is limited.
