Re: [offtopic]How can you be proud in future of your country with clinton or trump ?

If you try to fix your car with your emotions you will end up smashing it to pieces with a golf club, baseball bat or whatever.
If you try to fix your country with your emotions.....

Re: How can you be proud in future of your country with clinton or trump ?

The general rule is "think before submitting your post". If one adheres to that it shouldn't be necessary to delete any post at all. Thus I don't think we need such a feature - I even think it would increase the number of "spam"-posts. Posts which need to be deleted usually have...

Deleted. You could have a separate comment button that would auto delete what was written after a week or so.

Maths free video on deep neural nets

Yeh, maths free (more or less), but I guess you would want to know a little about the subject:
https://youtu.be/11rsu_WwZTc
I got to see the saddle point problem first hand with the denoising autoencoders I was experimenting with.

Re: Optimization algorithm again

I'll put this back since I can see it improve a little bit over an hour or so, on very small training sets: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BwsgMLjV0BnhQnhxVExidGZSSHc I think there is a problem in some of the current deep neural nets where they have to be trained on (mini) batches of examples. Ve...

Re: Artificial muscle

Actually, it turns out the conversion efficient is about 1% compared to 20% for the human equivalent. However the low cost, weight and size compensate to a reasonable extent.

Re: anti-alias rotation of a bitmap object

I stopped using the Processing programming language because as the original authors lost interest the number of bugs kept increasing.
However, it does have nearly the prefect graphics library for hobbyists.

Re: Optimization algorithm again

After a bit of evolution. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BwsgMLjV0BnhR2tvSlR2djYzMnc I guess you could create a real image compression algorithm out of it by combining points under different degrees of blurring. Also, I think it is not generally known that it is possible to combine Gaussian blurr...
