I don't know if gcc (gcc.exe and cc1.exe) could be included, maybe we could create a separated package just with that, or a "fb+gcc" archive for Windows. Hi, v1ctor. Maybe you can try this: http://nufans.net/grub4dos/bean/grub_msys_v4.zip It's a basic msys tool for compiling grub4dos unde...

In fact, there're thousands of BAsIC programs.
freebasic is free, so you can use it for free.
it's so beautiful that v1ctor and friends made this happen.
if you want to make money, don't worry about giving money.
that's fair.
Freebasic is spirit.

UCLinux /ARM Linux support?

Can Freebasic support UCLinux /ARM Linux?
Maybe this is the way FB can easily win out and run beyond other basics.

Hi, but we can compile c/c++ to .o with GCC.
Then we can make the fb .o and c .o together and get a Exe or Dll.

You should be able to make your older code a dynamic library (dll) and have it work with newer versions, just declare it cdecl and fb should see it as a C library. yes you're right. that's the pitty itself. how about dos and others. of course we can find way to go through it. but if it can then bet...

anonymous1337 always has his point of view, ^@^

i just meant it'll be good if we won't have to worry about old qb, fb.16 or fb.18.1 versions.

yes it's big problem. and we can compile using deferrent compilers.

but if old code can't be useful together with new features, it's really a pitty.

Nice job! yes forum is the freshest and kinda best place to know about FB, but i think your qbe is also valuable for someone to know things about and besides fb, e.g. qb and etc. flowers bloom and leaves leave. FB is not and maybe will never be the best, but FB is here and we whole community love he...

Can -lang be more...?

-lang qb and -lang deprecated are very useful to me to compile old progs. but i also like new .18.1 features. can i use them al-together, i.e. to use -lang xxx within seperate .bas and compile whole project together? i tried to compile some .16 ones into .a, and link them with new -lang fb, there're...

iir, the problem with "../../fb_gfx_lzw.h" would happen with gcc 3.3 or lower but not gcc 3.4 or higher. But yeah, that dependency could probably be handled better. yes, you're absolute correct. my djgpp gcc is 3.2.3. On linux, I think I have had a similiar problem after running ../../con...

I am using slax 6 rc6 + dev.lzm. I use slax because it's small and portable. dev.lzm is the dev system for slax 6. i type gcc -v in the console, and it prints Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc/i486-slackware-linux/4.1.2/specs Target: i486-slackware-linux Configured with: ../gcc-4.1.2/configure --prefi...
