Re: Portable GUI toolkit (IUP) version 3.0 (RC2)

this is not a solution because iup is closely related to gtk. if the program uses an advanced function of gtk. it will crash.

Re: FBGUI library for windows 2

yes. there must be a gtk3 lib that is integrated when linking. but I don't see which one. i'll see later if i have time. i tested some examples found in the forum about win9linux. it works if it's simple. i still think fltk would be a better choice. perfectly suited to freebasic to generate light pr...

Re: FBGUI library for windows 2

this is the question I asked myself. what does iup have to do with gtk. to check I have uninstalled gtk2 and gtk3 and I got an error message when linking in connection with gtk-x11-2.0 and gdk-x11-2.0... FreeBASIC Compiler - Version 1.06.0 (03-06-2019), built for linux-x86_64 (64bit) Copyright (C) 2...

Re: fbc_1.06.0-1_amd64.deb

I used this post : https://www.freebasic.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=25266&p=227176&hilit=deb#p227176 I generated the package in a lxd container to avoid installing too many dependencies in the real system. I didn't modify anything in the original freebasic source code. I used freebasi...

Re: FBGUI library for windows 2

it seems that installing gtk2 and gtk3 is a bad idea. some libraries conflict... for example the compilation of IUP_FB_EDITOR has been successful but the program does not run with an error message: Gtk-ERROR **: GTK+ 2.x symbols detected. Using GTK+ 2.x and GTK+ 3 in the same process is not supporte...

Re: FBGUI library for windows 2

Hello to all! I am writing a Linux version of the library. I do not know how much patience I have :) You can try what I have written now. Of course this is only part of the library. The link will be the archive in the archive source files. In the Remark file lists the currently available functions ...

Re: [Freebasic 32 vs 64]

@Coolman it is your choice which compiler version you want to use, in my experience, FBx64 executables are usually faster than FBx86, except for graphics I don't have a real world benchmark, so here's the nbody benchmark my times on Windows 10 x64 FBwin32 fbc -w all -asm intel -gen gas launched fou...
