bsave throws a segmentation fault
I've never used bsave before and when I try to run the example /freebasic/examples/manual/gfx/bsave.bas unaltered, it gives me a segmentation fault.
It probably shouldn't make a difference but I'm running freebasic in slackware linux. Any ideas, it seems straight forward. Thankx

Dir() question
Does DIR() only work in the current directory?
I have tried DIR("c:\prog\data\*.*") but it doesn't seem to work (at least in FreeDOS)
Thanks

Getkey problem
I'm using GETKEY in FreeDOS and it seems that it is not returning the extended code. I was using an old version - noticed on this forum the problem in a 2013 post - so I just downloaded the latest version - same problem.
Could someone see if they have the same problem? Thanks

FreeBASIC & HTML help
I wrote a FreeBASIC game that is text only (just print, locate, cls, tab, color and text...did not use the extended ascii...total console). Compiled to an exe. I would like to throw this onto a webpage (centered) and have it run and be able to interact with it. Can this be done??? What would the htm...

Re: Inkey vs getkey
That makes sense...I was converting an old program anyway so I'll probably upgrade to "getKey". Thanks

Inkey vs getkey
Feel free to move this to beginner if you think it is to obvious. I noticed when I put "inkey" in a do-loop (or label and goto) the fan of my laptop comes on and keeps running until I hit a key. With "getkey" the fan does not come on -or- comes on very briefly then shuts off. Fir...

graphics mode
From what I have read when I issue a ScreenRes command, it turns graphics mode ON. So my question is how do turn graphics mode OFF later in my program? Thanks
Re: IsNumeric
It's not that important. I was xlating/compiling old vb6 program into freebasic and came up with syntax errors on IsNumeric. What I really miss is VB "replace" command but it's a good tradeoff to get back the "swap" that was missing from VB. Next question, is there any support fo...
IsNumeric
I was just wondering why there is no "IsNumeric" function?

Re: Need an old Version
My bad...I was looking in the tarball for the source. I thought the src file was just windows...a bad case of brain lock.
