Re: FB_GUI V1.20.4 (New Release Oct 29, 2011)

@LOKI3545, you must be using an older version of FB_GUI (V1.14 or earlier). In these early versions, the FB_Extended_Lib was used for special font generation. The method used #include once "ext/graphics.bi" near the beginning of the FB_GUI.BI file. If you want to use FB-Extended_Lib, you c...

Re: FB_GUI V1.20.4 (New Release Oct 29, 2011)

Sorry, no videos. There are several examples (code and executables) here: http://sites.google.com/site/freebasicgui/Home The version on this google site is indeed from 2011. I have continued to tweak FB_GUI to this day. When I get some time, I'll make a clean version with all the updates and post it.

Re: dll entry point not found [Solved]

@ Joshy, I noticed in the disassembled code that DestroyHandle was used just before CreateHandle. With that change added to your code, it now works! AXC_DestroyHandle(hAXC) hAXC = AXC_CreateHandle(bStartAsDemo,@nError) var IsOpen = AXC_OpenDevice(hAXC, strptr(firstSN), bReadHardware, @nError) Now I ...

Re: dll entry point not found

@ Joshy, One last thought. I disassembled AxoClamp.EXE (which does run properly and communicates with the device). It appears there is only one section of code that calls AXC_OpenDevice(), AKA SUB_L00405260 . Perhaps by looking at the ASM it will be possible to determine what must precede AXC_OpenDe...

I don't recall graphics.bi. Where does it appear in your code?

Re: dll entry point not found

It works in DemoMode. When bStartDemo = 0, however, it has the same HID device not found error message. Also, FYI, AXC_GetSerialNumer does not assign the serial number to SN (remains spaces). Curiously nError = 0 Here's the full output API version 1.0.0.56 serial number: first device SN: ******** (c...

Re: dll entry point not found

The full download package for Axoclamp is here:

http://mdc.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/18959

Drivers are freely available, since it's useless without their hardware.

Re: dll entry point not found

@Joshy, Yeah, the C header provides a lot of hints at how to use Axoclampdriver.dll, but there are remaining challenges that I have taken up with the vendor. For example, I can successfully get the handle and serial number of the device using the dll, but if I try to open the device an error code of...

Re: dll entry point not found

@Joshy, Thanks!!!! I can now access all the functions in AxoClampDriver.dll. Now I just need to figure out how to use it with essentially no documentation. Also, thanks for correcting my pointer error in the nError parameter. BTW for your example, I think Len(SerialNum) needs to be SizeOf(SerialNum)...

Re: dll entry point not found

Thanks. I have been able to communicate with the DLL to confirm the API Version and to communicate with the hardware to retrieve the serial number (via AXC_FindFirstDevice). Here's the DLL https://sites.google.com/site/freebasicgui/Home/fb-examples/AxoclampDriver.dll?attredirects=0&d=1 and the a...

Re: dll entry point not found

Still getting the same error - Entry Point could not be located Here's a screen shot of the export table from PExplorer. All the functions with the "_" prefix cause the same error, whereas I can call any of the functions without "_". I have tried making a MyLIb.def file with and ...
