Re: IUP_FB_EDITOR (simple development environment)

Downloaded your editor and found some issues with it (I am assuming the editor is far from complete but I figured I'd post a bug report anyway). For starters I found a small typo in a menu. Edit->Convert Simvols to should read Menu Edit -> Convert Symbols to (changed Simvols to Symbols) The typo act...

Re: Wiki signups

I can login again. Thank you very much for helping out, counting_pine.

The error I got was the same as the error you get when using an invalid password. I don't understand what went wrong.

Re: Wiki signups

@councting_pine I was able to log in to the wiki several times (at least on two different dates using my new password) but now the wiki does not accept my password any more. I am 100% sure the password I am using to log in is correct. Since I cannot reset the password myself I have little choice but...

Re: FB debugger : 2.91 32/64 BIT ..... (Aug 20th, 2016)

I've looked around on the net for solutions to setting the infotip hovering time. I could not find anything other than workarounds. I think a possible workaround to get a solid hover time without having to set a timer somewhere in code (to 'emulate' hover time) is by using TrackMouseEvent. dim tme a...

Re: Cannot update page on wiki

I would really like to remove that nasty FB grammar. Anybody with a wiki account can probably do that. However, is none better than the current one? (until the new one is finished; assuming that it will be finished) I remember a FB grammar being posted on the forums a long time ago, I guess that wa...

Cannot update page on wiki

Many years ago I wrote a (very, very bad) FB grammar. And I put it online in the wiki. It never ended up as part of the officially released documentation (it wasn't linked to any section because somehow I knew the grammar was cr.p). I am working on a new version of the FB grammar. And I would like t...

Re: FB debugger : 2.91 32/64 BIT ..... (Aug 20th, 2016)

The shift - hover does not seem to work. I always get a new window (replace current is never used). The movement of the mouse cursor to the right is a solution for the problem with infotip delay times. Which I think is why you suggested adding the ctrl - hover in the first place (to prevent users fr...

Re: FB debugger : 2.91 32/64 BIT ..... (Aug 20th, 2016)

@SARG I tried the version of fbdebugger that shows the expand window when hovering. And it's great to use. I did find that using ctrl was not what I wanted. It took me very little time to change the code so it doesn't use ctrl. I think that turning the use of ctrl into an option would not be too har...

Re: FB debugger : 2.91 32/64 BIT ..... (Aug 20th, 2016)

@SARG Size of the screen is 1680 x 1050. Values for converting map/pixel reads: baseunits = 1400A right = 10 bottom = 20 scale x y = 2.5 2.5 The buttons look fine now. A couple of pictures to show what the screens look like now https://raw.githubusercontent.com/FreeBASIC-programmer/pictures/master/s...

Re: FB debugger : 2.91 32/64 BIT ..... (Aug 20th, 2016)

@SARG I tested the new version but alas, the problem of clipped text on buttons is still there. If it works on your machine but not on mine then the problem could be with the OS I am using. The shortcut - keys work like a charm. No problem assigning the letter y to show/expand variable. I thought a ...

Re: FB debugger : 2.91 32/64 BIT ..... (Aug 20th, 2016)

@SARG Sorry for the very, very late reply. I will download and test the new version asap. In my bug report I forgot to mention the OS I am using: Win 7 pro 64bit. Re: FB debugger : 2.91 32/64 BIT ..... (Aug 20th, 2016)

@SARG A bug report. I found some slight problems with the latest version of fbdebugger (not IUP version): the text on some buttons does not show up correctly. The buttons need to be bigger in some places. Especially the buttons on the window you get when choosing Tools->settings . That window (in te...

Re: FB debugger : 2.91 32/64 BIT ..... (Aug 20th, 2016)

@SARG: I downloaded and used your latest version of the debugger right away. I am using the win api version. Works very well. I also saw you uploaded an IUP - version. I tried the IUP tree control which was kind of interesting (I think). The code looks like this (you need to get iuplua https://sourc...
