Merick:

Thanks again for your help.

Made the IE fix you suggested, and now FIREFOX 3beta4 works fine too.

I have been doing some more checking, and have found the following:

FIREFOX 2.0.0.12 .. Does not work for me in any case.

FIREFOX 2.0.0,13 .. Does work even though ID/password are
grayed out in the FB Archive.

FIREFOX 3beta4 .. Does not work in any case.

Merick:

You are right!

IE works, but latest version of FIREFOX 2 does not. The log in ID and password fields are greyed out on the FB Archive log in page.

Thanks for confirming the prolem I am having.

Still no luck.

It will not let me log into the archive area, nor will it allow me to register for the archive area. It keeps on telling me to go to the FB Forum and log in there (which, of course, I have already done). I have tried just about every combination I can think of.

Although I am logged-in at the Forum level, when I choose a file to download, I do not see a "DOWNLOAD NOW" message, only a message that says "You must be logged-in to download files."

It seems to be ignoring the fact that I am already logged into the FB Forum.

Downloading files from the FB Official Archive

Can someone explain how to download files from the FB Official Archive while logged in to the Forum?

I have been unsuccessful at doing this so far. Can't figure out what to click on to start a download.

Thanks in advance.

GUI-maker

gbos:

Thanks for the reply. GUI-maker is working fine for me now.

How closely does the syntax for GUI-maker source follow that of RapidQ, at least for the button controls it is capable of using?

How to use?

Looks very interesting.

Could you describe how to use GUI-maker, step-by-step?

I must be doing something wrong, because I can not seem to get the TEST example generated with GUI-maker.

Thanks. You're right. I did use the wrong radiobutton control in setting up my groupbox. Works fine now after making the change.

Created a simple window using VSIG, containing a group box with two radio buttons inside and compiled it OK with FB-v0.18-Jul-02-2007-intermediate. The EXE runs OK except the radio buttons don't seem to function properly. Clicking on a button puts it in focus, but the button is not activated (the li...

Problem compiling FIREWORKS with FB-v0.17b-May-01-2007

Stef's FIREWORKS code compiled with previous version, but will not with the new version unless the OPTION STATIC and OPTION EXPLICIT lines are removed.

Apparently the new build of FB-v0.17b no longer allows either of these two OPTION statements.
